US Envoy Notes Progress in Settling Ukraine Crisis

NEW YORK, November 6 — The Ukraine conflict remains difficult to resolve, but some progress is being made, said Steve Witkoff, the US special presidential envoy for peace missions. Speaking at a business forum in Miami, Florida, Witkoff stated,
“I sense that there's some break, there's some progress today, but I think it's a tough conflict.”
He emphasized the ongoing need for detailed negotiations, especially on security arrangements, saying,
“We have a lot of work to do with regard to security protocols for Ukraine. There's a lot of discussion that technical teams have to have to hold a high-level meeting.”
