Channing Tatum, known for playing Gambit, is excited about the scale of Avengers: Doomsday and believes it could be a landmark film for the next decade.
"Look, everyone in the world is going to see this movie," Tatum told Deadline. "It's hard to say this because, I mean, you hear these things and go, 'Of course'. But they've topped themselves every time. This will be the biggest movie of next year and maybe even the next 10 years."
His enthusiasm comes from reading the script and witnessing the production process. He described the film's scale and ambition as extraordinary.
"The scope of it, what they're trying to do… what the Russos have cooked up – when I read it, I was just like, 'How are they going to do this?'. It was an Everest of a mountain to climb. I am still in awe," said Tatum.
Tatum hinted that Gambit will play a significant role and not just stay on the sidelines. He mentioned performing a lot of action scenes, although a hamstring injury briefly benched him during filming.
"I do so much action in this movie, but that was just a small part," Tatum recalled, suggesting the X-Men will be heavily involved in the story.
Channing Tatum praises Avengers: Doomsday as an unprecedented MCU event, predicting it to be a defining blockbuster of the next decade.
