The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) remains a global powerhouse but is no longer dominating the way it once did. Following the moderate success of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which earned just over $500 million, Marvel is looking toward its next big projects to regain momentum.
The upcoming fourth Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland is expected to perform well. However, all eyes are on the highly anticipated crossover, Avengers: Doomsday.
“I mean, there are just so many actors in it, and getting to work with those people as peers is really incredible because I grew up watching so many of them,” Simu Liu told ScreenRant. “It feels, in a lot of ways, like a love letter to the entire genre of superhero movies. And I think there’s something really fun about that.”
With Liu’s comments, the film promises not only spectacle but also emotional depth, adding to the already enormous expectations.
