Chanzo Capital organized the first Angel Fair Africa speed-dating event in the United States during San Francisco Tech Week earlier last month. The initiative connected African entrepreneurs with investors in a dynamic networking format aimed at fostering partnerships and investment opportunities.
Since its launch in September 2013, Angel Fair Africa has taken place in multiple African cities including Johannesburg, Lagos, Accra, Nairobi, Abidjan, Maputo, Dar es Salaam, Mauritius, and Cape Town. In September, the event expanded to New York before making its debut in San Francisco.
The 12th edition of the program was a milestone event for Chanzo Capital, which was invited to host this session as part of San Francisco Tech Week on October 7. Tech Week, organized by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), is recognized as the largest decentralized conference linking prominent startups, investors, and companies from around the world.
“Angel Fair Africa continues to create valuable connections between entrepreneurs and investors, driving African innovation onto the global stage.”
Angel Fair Africa marked its first U.S. edition at San Francisco Tech Week, uniting African innovators and global investors in a fast-paced, partnership-driven networking event.
