Paloma Faith and Alan Carr seem to have “buried the hatchet” following speculation about a rift between them. The singer revealed she was “devastated” to be the first victim chosen on the show Celebrity Traitors, especially since it was by her close friend Alan Carr.
Initially, tensions appeared to linger, as Alan did not respond to Paloma’s pregnancy announcement on social media.
The pair have since appeared to reconcile. Paloma shared a nostalgic Halloween video featuring Alan dressed as one of the twins from The Shining. In the clip, Paloma asks, “Alan what happened to you? What did my daughter do?” Alan humorously responds, “She threw a slug at me and then she basically set a rat on me which I have spoken to the police, it’s a hate crime.”
“We no longer feel guilty @chattyman happy Halloween throw back.”
Alan reshared the video, adding:
“Haha! I think we’re even now!”
The 49-year-old recently spoke about his decision to eliminate Paloma during an episode of the Life’s A Beach podcast, hosted by DJ Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim).
Pain and playful banter now seem to have given way to renewed friendship between them.
