David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown have portrayed a turbulent relationship onscreen in Netflix's hit show Stranger Things. However, new revelations reveal that Harbour, 50, has faced serious accusations beyond their fictional roles.
The Mail on Sunday has disclosed that Harbour was accused of bullying and harassing co-star Millie Bobby Brown. The British actress reportedly filed a formal complaint before filming the final season.
“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”
An internal inquiry was launched regarding these claims, though the outcome remains unknown. Importantly, no allegations of sexual misconduct were reported.
Alongside the on-set allegations, Harbour is also accused of cheating on his estranged wife, singer-songwriter Lily Allen. Despite the turmoil, Allen reportedly stood by Harbour throughout the difficult period.
“Lily supported him throughout it all. It was a brutal time.”
Netflix declined to comment on the reported investigation.
Harbour plays Jim Hopper, an ex-police chief who adopts Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown. The show's fifth season is about to air, marking its final installment.
