Cloud Streaming Launches on PlayStation Portal
PlayStation Portal users can now stream select PS5 games directly with PlayStation Plus Premium. This feature marks a major evolution in how players experience gaming on the device.
Continuous Improvements Since Launch
Since its debut in November 2023, the PlayStation Portal has received updates including better public Wi-Fi support and improved user experience. Last year, a Cloud Streaming beta allowed PlayStation Plus Premium members to access select PS5 titles from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics Catalog without a PS5 console.
New Cloud Streaming Features for PS5 Games
On November 5 at 6pm PT / November 6 at 2am GMT, a significant update introduced Cloud Streaming support for digital PS5 games in users' personal libraries. This upgrade enhances gameplay flexibility by allowing streaming of thousands of PS5 titles.
