North Lincolnshire Unites to Honour Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday
North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the dedication and sacrifice of its armed forces on Remembrance Sunday with a parade and service in Scunthorpe on 9 November.
Event Details
- The parade assembles outside The Baths Hall from 10:10 AM and starts moving at 10:25 AM.
- Participants may gather for tea and coffee inside The Baths Hall from 9:30 AM or join outside starting at 10:00 AM.
- The procession will include serving personnel, veterans, military organizations, and uniformed groups.
- The parade will march along Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph outside North Lincolnshire Museum.
Remembrance Service
The service begins at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance, including a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM, followed by wreath laying.
Afterwards, the parade returns to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.
Those attending are invited to stay at The Baths Hall for refreshments and quiet reflection.
