Remembrance Day Ceremonies Across Quinte Region

Several communities in the Quinte region will host annual Remembrance Day ceremonies to honor veterans and active military members. Residents are encouraged to wear a poppy and attend local events to show their respect.

Elmwood Cemetery Ceremony

The Elmwood Cemetery will hold its annual Remembrance Day service on Monday, November 11.

Belleville Cenotaph Ceremony

The Belleville Veterans Council will host their ceremony at the Belleville Cenotaph, located at 10 Cannifton Road. The event begins at 10:30 a.m. on November 11.

Quinte West Ceremonies

The City of Quinte West invites the public to honor veterans at a ceremony held at the local Cenotaph on Tuesday, November 11. Participants can also sign the city’s virtual Book of Remembrance at quintewest.ca/remember.

Road Closures

Temporary road closures will be in effect in Trenton and Frankford from 10:30 a.m. until noon on November 11 to accommodate the ceremonies. The areas impacted include:
