Actress Riley Keough shared that she continues to feel a spiritual connection with her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, while completing her memoir “From Here to the Great Unknown.” She believes she received reassuring signs from her mother that the book’s final form brings her peace.
Keough completed the project over a year after Lisa Marie Presley’s death in 2023. To honor her mother’s legacy, she used audio recordings of memories her mother had made before she passed away. The memoir’s paperback edition, set for release on November 11 by Penguin Random House, will include a new heartfelt afterword by Keough.
“I think if you're open to those things, they're kind of everywhere. I really do believe that,” Keough told PEOPLE at the Academy x Chanel’s Women’s Luncheon.
“I certainly feel connected to whatever that world may be. There are moments that are too weird not to be something.”
Though she did not specify the exact experiences, Keough emphasized that she often senses her mother’s presence in ways too strong to ignore.
