Authorities are investigating the murder of a 53-year-old man in central El Paso. The victim, Pedro Garcia, a local resident, suffered fatal injuries in an attack.
On October 15, officers responded to a report of a possible shooting at the Jack in the Box located at 5519 Alameda. Upon arrival, they found Garcia unconscious with severe head trauma.
Contrary to initial reports suggesting a shooting, it was confirmed that Garcia was struck on the head with an object.
Pedro Garcia was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries in November.
