Mexico’s Bocel Private Equity Invests in Palco Ticketing

Mexican private equity fund Bocel has invested in Palco Ticketing, a Spanish software provider specializing in ticket sales for music, sports, and cultural events. The investment was made in partnership with entrepreneurs Patricio Villalobos Cuevas and Miguel Ramírez Lombana.

This funding will help Palco enhance its leadership in Latin America and Spain, improving its capacity to support event organizers ranging from local gatherings to major concerts and international sports competitions.

“The investment in Palco aligns perfectly with our fund’s strategy of backing technology-driven B2B companies with international presence and high growth potential within the live experiences market,” said Roberto Terrazas, managing partner at Bocel.

Villalobos and Ramírez will take on strategic leadership roles to guide Palco's expansion, bringing over 20 years of experience to the company.

“We have full confidence in the track record and capabilities of Miguel and Patricio, who as our operating partners will contribute their experience and strategic vision – alongside the proven expertise of Palco’s Spanish founders – to take the company to the next level and achieve our shared goals,” stated René Fernández, managing partner at Bocel.

Founded in 2017 in Spain, Palco has provided its ticketing software to more than 500 venues across 30 countries, including many in Latin America.

Summary: Bocel’s strategic investment and leadership collaboration aims to accelerate Palco Ticketing’s growth and reinforce its position in Latin America and Spain’s live event markets.
