Women's darts world champion Beau Greaves is being considered for a spot on the Premier League Darts roster and has shared her thoughts on accepting such an invite.
The 21-year-old gained increased recognition after defeating Luke Littler last month on her path to the World Youth Final. This success has sparked discussions about her potential rise in the darts scene.
Five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld has suggested that a strong performance at the upcoming PDC World Championship could secure Greaves a place among the eight Premier League players.
“It’s just nice – they don’t have to say that sort of stuff. I watched all these players growing up,” Greaves said regarding Van Barneveld's praise. “I can’t imagine I would get in the Premier League unless I had a crazy run but I wouldn’t say no! But maybe it’s a bit much for me.”
Born in Doncaster, Greaves remains modest about her chances but finds the idea of joining the Premier League thrilling.
Beau Greaves acknowledges the honor in being tipped for the Premier League Darts, emphasizing cautious optimism while appreciating the recognition from legends like Van Barneveld.
