A Life-Changing Discovery
Three years ago, I searched online for something uplifting to watch with my daughter. That night unexpectedly changed my life because we found The Chosen. Though it was available in Portuguese, it was translated into Brazilian Portuguese rather than the European Portuguese we speak and dream in. Still, we tried it.
A Strong Calling to Translate
We watched the series for three nights in a row, loving it more each time. Each night, I felt a deep voice in my heart saying,
"This needs to be translated into your language. You are the one to do it."So, I pursued the opportunity.
Joining a Global Translation Team
After interviews and vetting, I joined a team of over 200 expert translators worldwide who collaborate with Come and See to support the ongoing translation of The Chosen. Today, I appreciate more than ever how challenging—and vital—it is to translate God's story and word accurately.
