Vertical has unveiled the trailer for Rosemead, a new drama inspired by Frank Shyong’s compelling 2017 LA Times column. Directed by Eric Lin, the film features Lucy Liu portraying a mother struggling with illness who takes extreme actions to shield her troubled son from his darkening obsessions.
Alongside Lucy Liu, the cast includes Lawrence Shou, Orion Lee, Jennifer Lim, Madison Hu, and James Chen. The movie centers on a woman’s desperate efforts to protect her teenage son, played by Lawrence Shou, as his dangerous fixations intensify. Faced with a dwindling window of time, she must confront heart-wrenching decisions.
