LoL Esports: 2025 World Championship Opening Ceremony
The 2025 League of Legends World Championship Opening Ceremony Presented by Mastercard™ will be held on November 8 at 11 p.m. GMT at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium in Chengdu.
This event marks the start of the biggest esports tournament of the year, featuring performances by artists from around the world.
Creative Collaboration and Performances
The visual spectacle for this year’s ceremony is crafted in partnership with DJ and producer Anyma, who joins Riot Games as a creative collaborator for ACT III of the ceremony. Anyma will integrate technology, art, and storytelling alongside exceptional vocalists:
- Chinese pop singer G.E.M.
- Powerhouse vocalist and long-time League of Legends collaborator Chrissy Costanza
- Austrian singer and songwriter TEYA
The show celebrates 15 years of LoL Esports.
About G.E.M.
G.E.M., born in Shanghai in 1991, moved to Hong Kong at age 4. She is a renowned Chinese pop singer, songwriter, producer, and screenwriter with over 120 original songs. Her hit "Light Years Away" holds the Guinness World Record for the most views on a Chinese music video.
In 2022, she released the original album "Revelation" and created a 14-episode music series for it.
