Bronx Triple Shooting in Mott Haven
Just before 9 p.m., officers responded to a report near East 142nd and East 143rd Streets on Brook Avenue. Three males, including a teenager, were found shot. A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were both shot in the back, and a 29-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. All three were transported to Lincoln Hospital and remain in stable condition.
Queens Double Shooting in Whitestone
About 20 minutes earlier, police arrived at a residence on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Streets. They found a 39-year-old man shot in the left arm and a 49-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to her right arm and torso. Both were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. A firearm was recovered at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
