NZ vs WI, 4th T20I: Rain Disrupts Match in Nelson

The fourth Twenty20 international between New Zealand and the West Indies was abandoned due to rain on Monday after less than seven overs were played. West Indies reached 38-1 in 6.3 overs after being sent to bat when a second rain interruption ended the match prematurely at Saxton Oval in Nelson.

Alick Athanaze, who scored 21 runs, was the only wicket to fall after miscuing a James Neesham delivery and being caught by Daryl Mitchell.

Amir Jangoo remained unbeaten on 12, and captain Shai Hope was 3 not out when the game was called off.

Series Status

Earlier in the series, New Zealand lost the opening match at Eden Park, Auckland, by seven runs but bounced back to win the second game there by three runs. They also won the third match in Nelson by nine runs on Sunday.
