The West Coast Eagles have secured a four-year partnership with Allianz Australia, becoming the club’s Platinum Partner across AFL, AFLW, and Wheelchair football teams. This marks Allianz’s first major sporting sponsorship in Western Australia, reflecting its commitment to expanding community programs nationwide.
Partnership Details and Club Statement
Don Pyke, CEO of the West Coast Eagles, emphasized the alignment between the club's values and Allianz’s community focus.
“Allianz Australia has a proven track record of resilience and performance, and an outstanding community focus which aligns with our club’s values and identity.”
He added that Allianz’s support will bolster the development of the Eagles’ AFL, AFLW, and Wheelchair football programs as well as wider community initiatives.
Branding and Sponsorship Scope
- Allianz branding will feature on the neckline of the Eagles’ AFL jerseys, training gear, media backdrops, and stadium signage at Optus Stadium.
- From 2026, Allianz will serve as the shorts partner for the AFLW team and a major partner for the Wheelchair football team.
Community Initiative Launch
The partnership will kick off with a community project supporting Foodbank WA’s Give a Feed appeal, which delivers Christmas hampers to families in need across Western Australia.
- Allianz will sponsor 1,000 food hampers.
- Eagles players and staff will volunteer to help distribute the hampers before Christmas.
