Delivery at Royal Lodge amid claims Andrew is 'ranting to himself'

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, 65, formerly the Duke of York, has remained secluded at the Royal Lodge since losing his titles over his association with the late Jeffrey Epstein. He and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson were seen preparing for a private evening following the arrival of several boxes of champagne delivered to their Windsor residence.

King Charles officially removed Andrew’s royal status last month by issuing a rare Letters Patent that stripped him of his prince title and HRH style. As part of these changes, Andrew is expected to vacate the 30-room Royal Lodge for another property on the Sandringham estate as soon as arrangements allow.

Although the exact date of his departure is uncertain, Andrew appears intent on enjoying his remaining time at the residence. Witnesses observed multiple boxes of Devaux Champagne being unloaded from a Majestic Wines van at the mansion’s gates before being carried inside.

Despite having lived at Royal Lodge for more than twenty years, Andrew and Ferguson are reportedly distant while sharing the home. They are said to sleep at opposite ends of the house and meet mainly for meals.

“A source close to the couple claimed the former duke has been ‘ranting to himself’ and ‘rarely goes out’, while Fergie is said to have taken refuge at a secret bar behind the mansion.”
