Emmy Award winner Samira Wiley makes her Broadway debut alongside Hamilton alum Jin Ha in the first revival of David Auburn's Pulitzer and Tony-winning play Proof. The production runs for a limited 16-week engagement at the Booth Theatre starting March 31, with opening night on April 16.
Except for Ha, all cast members are making their Broadway debut with this production.
"Proof follows the daughter of a genius math professor who discovers a groundbreaking proof after his death, causing turmoil as others question its true authorship."
Written by David Auburn and directed by Thomas Kail, this revival marks the first since the play's 2000 premiere where it won both the Tony Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
Before Broadway, Wiley appeared on the London stage in productions such as Intimate Apparel and Blues for an Alabama Sky, and off-Broadway in Daphne’s Dive.
Ha's previous New York theatre credits include major shows like Hamilton and Here We Are.
The show will be performed exclusively at the Booth Theatre for a 16-week run, beginning March 31.
