Broadway Revival of Proof Starring Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle Now on Sale
David Auburn’s acclaimed play Proof, winner of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize, is now available for tickets. The revival features Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle, with Samira Wiley and Jin Ha, and will run at the Booth Theatre starting March 31, 2026.
Production Details and Opening
Directed by Tony winner Thomas Kail, the production officially opens on April 16, 2026. The story centers on Catherine (Edebiri), the gifted but unsettled daughter of famed math professor Robert (Cheadle). Following his death, a notebook containing a groundbreaking proof emerges, sparking questions about its true author. Catherine faces the challenge of honoring her father’s legacy while proving her own worth.
