The FIFA World Cup is coming to Canada in 2026, with matches hosted in Toronto, Vancouver, and 14 other North American cities. In celebration, Canada Soccer announced a new musical project featuring some of the country's top artists.
The album, titled Perfect Pitch, brings together prominent Canadian musicians such as Alessia Cara, Charlotte Cardin, Loud Luxury, Nelly Furtado, The Tragically Hip, and Zeds Dead. Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da is leading the initiative.
“The energy around this project has been incredible. It’s inspiring to see so many iconic Canadian artists come together. What we’re creating isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural statement. The music represents every corner of the country, and I’m proud of how collaborative and inclusive the process has been,” said Boi-1da.
The album will include original songs, re-imagined tracks, and unique collaborations among Canada's most celebrated artists. It is scheduled for release before the 2026 FIFA World Cup begins next June.
