Jetstar is preparing its largest expansion yet from Melbourne Avalon Airport by introducing new international flights to Bali, resuming flights to Adelaide, and increasing frequencies to Brisbane. This significant growth will add over 330,000 new seats annually for passengers traveling to and from Melbourne.
The new Bali service will mark Jetstar’s first international route departing from Melbourne Avalon. Starting March 23, 2026, the airline will operate five return flights each week between Melbourne Avalon and Denpasar using Airbus A321LR aircraft. This expansion will provide more than 120,000 additional seats annually to one of Australia's most popular holiday destinations.
The Bali route becomes Jetstar’s eleventh direct service from Australia and follows the recent launch of Bali flights from Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, and the Gold Coast.
