Jetstar announced its largest expansion at Melbourne Avalon Airport (AVV), introducing international flights to Bali, resuming Adelaide service, and increasing flights to Brisbane.
This growth will add over 330,000 low-fare seats annually at AVV, Melbourne’s second airport, enhancing travel options for locals and attracting more tourists to Victoria.
Jetstar’s Bali route marks its inaugural international service from Melbourne Avalon.
Starting March 23, 2026, Jetstar will operate five weekly round trips between Melbourne Avalon and Bali Denpasar Airport (DPS) using Airbus A321LR aircraft.
The flights will provide over 120,000 seats annually to one of Australia’s top overseas destinations.
Flight time is approximately six hours, offering convenient access to Bali’s beaches and cultural sites for travelers from Melbourne, Geelong, the Surf Coast, and Bellarine Peninsula.
Jetstar’s expansion at Melbourne Avalon strengthens its network with key international and domestic routes, providing affordable travel options and boosting regional tourism.
