Dwayne Johnson brings Robbie Robertson's RRazors to the Big Screen
At last week's Toronto International Film Festival, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was on hand to present the film "Robbie," a biopic about the legendary guitar player Robbie Robertson.
Johnson, who's been a longtime friend and fan of Robertson's, has brought the musician's story to the big screen. The film, directed by Daniel Roby, stars Zachary Levi as Robertson and follows his journey from a young boy growing up in a Native American reservation to becoming a rock star.
"Robbie" is a powerful story about the connection between music, family, and identity," Johnson said in a statement. "I am honored to bring Robbie's story to the screen and to be a part of sharing his incredible legacy with the world."
