DreamWorks revealed via Instagram that SNL's Marcello Hernandez and actor Skyler Gisondo have joined Shrek 5 to voice the ogre sons Fergus and Farkle, exciting fans ahead of the 2027 release.
DreamWorks shared the news on the film's official Instagram page on Thursday. Comedian and Saturday Night Live cast member Marcello Hernandez, along with Skyler Gisondo from Superman and The Righteous Gemstones, are now part of the movie.
The post included a fun video showing a text exchange between the actors, highlighting their enthusiasm. Its caption stated: > "The Brogres have entered the chat."
Hernandez and Gisondo will voice Shrek and Fiona's sons, Fergus and Farkle, as confirmed by Universal Pictures.
They join stars like Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Cameron Diaz as Fiona, and Zendaya voicing daughter Felicia. Brad Ableson co-directs, with the film set for theaters on June 30, 2027.
