Fatal Rollover Crash in Rockton
A 72-year-old Wisconsin woman was killed in a rollover crash on Illinois Route 2 in Rockton.
According to the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office, the woman was a passenger in a vehicle traveling north when the driver lost control near Wagon Wheel Road, causing the vehicle to roll over.
First responders found the woman, identified as the victim, unresponsive at the scene, and she was pronounced dead.
The Rockton Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
Authorities have not shared whether anyone else was hurt in the crash.
