Leslie County Students Honor Charlie Kirk at Memorial Vigil
Students at Leslie County High School hosted a memorial vigil to honor conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated on September.
The service, organized by the school's newly formed Turning Point USA chapter, featured prayer, music, and songs of remembrance.
We feel like we want it just solely to be based on how good of a person Charlie was and how he believed the way he did and how he fought for it.
Student leaders hoped the vigil would encourage others to speak boldly about their beliefs, a quality they said Kirk exemplified throughout his career.
