Laois Gardaí's Bake Off-Style Post Goes Viral
A driver who was "well and truly 'baked'" has been arrested after Laois gardaí caught them speeding at 165km/h on the M7 motorway.
The Laois Roads Policing Unit discovered the driver had no insurance, was an unaccompanied learner, and had a live arrest warrant.
On Your Marks, Get Set, BRAKE! Laois RPU stopped this yellow reg BMW speeding at 165 km/h along the M7 yesterday. On approaching this vehicle the aroma of Cannabis would've given even Prue & Paul a bad case of the munchies.
The incident was shared on the An Garda Síochána Laois/Offaly Facebook page, with gardaí using Great British Bake Off references.
