Maine Mariners to Begin New Season
The Maine Mariners will start their new season on Saturday night in Worcester, facing the Railers.
The team's home opener is scheduled for Sunday afternoon against the Reading Royals.
One of the team's strengths this season will be their goalkeepers, including rookie Ethan Pearson, Luke Cavallin, who has a contract with the Bruins, and veteran Brad Arvanitis.
Brad Arvanitis, a Massachusetts native, says he's right where he wants to be.
Arvanitis has 31 wins in 58 games as a Mariner, one away from the franchise record.
