No. 2 Aubrey swept Frisco Panther Creek on Tuesday, winning its 22nd straight match and moving to just one victory away from clinching no worse than a share of the district title.
Ten Denton-area volleyball teams were in action with district matches Tuesday. Notable results include:
- No. 5A No. 8 Flower Mound 3, Braswell 0: The Lady Bengals suffered a sweep at the hands of state-ranked Flower Mound, falling by margins of 25-15, 25-14, and 25-18.
- Colleyville Heritage 3, Denton High 0: Result not available at time of publication.
- Krum and No. 15 Ponder also prevailed in their respective matches.
Aubrey is one victory away from clinching no worse than a share of the district title.
