Asha Colless Takes Center Stage
Asha Colless, a 23-year-old circus performer, found her passion at a young age at Circus Monoxide in Fairy Meadow.
"I fell in love with circus from a very young age, and Circus Monoxide was like my favourite place to be as a kid,"
She notes,
"The wonderful thing about circus is that it's a physical activity, and you get to use your body, but it's not competitive like a lot of other sports. It has much more focus on creativity and community, and I think that creates a really safe and fun environment as a kid."
Asha will be starring in Circa's new show, Duck Pond, a take on Swan Lake and the Ugly Duckling, promising acrobatic thrills and surprises.
