Star Trek: Infection Brings Sci-fi Survival-Horror to VR Headsets
Star Trek: Infection is set to serve up a survival-horror experience in December, pitting players against a mysterious infection that has ravaged a Starfleet ship, turning the crew into deadly mutants.
The game is set aboard the U.S.S. Lumen, where players take on the role of a Vulcan Starfleet officer tasked with a covert mission that quickly spirals into "a psychological and physical nightmare," according to developer Played With Fire.
The entity "is learning your fears and using them against you."
Players will have to fight to maintain their Vulcan logic as they selectively mutate their body to battle the entity.
