Ontario College Support Workers Strike Ends
A tentative agreement has been reached between college support workers and the province, ending the strike.
About 10,000 full-time support workers at 24 colleges across the province went on strike on September.
The College Employer Council (CEC) and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) reached the agreement after a weekend-long mediation session with mediator William Kaplan.
Details of the settlement will be outlined to striking support workers, who are to return to work on Thursday.
The deal will be up for ratification on November.
No comment on the agreement has been released.
