10-Minute EV Charging Comes To America Next Year
ChargePoint is set to introduce 600-kilowatt EV chargers to the market next year, but currently, there are no EVs in the U.S. that can support this level of power.
The Chinese market is ahead in the electric-vehicle race, with several cars capable of charging at 1 megawatt, and public charging stations that can provide this power, allowing for EV recharging in about five minutes.
Europe follows closely behind China, with a significant number of EVs and an extensive network of chargers.
That's being billed as a game-changer in China because it puts EV charging on par with the time it takes to fill up a gas car.
