Sizewell C Secures Fuel Supply
Sizewell C has secured a long-term nuclear fuel supply, enhancing the UK's nuclear supply chain and energy security.
The UK's Sizewell C has signed contracts with Urenco and Framatome for enriched uranium services and nuclear fuel fabrication.
- The 3,200 MWe Sizewell C NPP will feature two EPR reactors.
- The supply contract with Urenco will support the first six years of operation.
The contract will help support around 1,000 highly skilled jobs at Urenco's enrichment site.
