Former Employee Accuses Union County Sheriff of Retaliatory Termination
A former Union County Sheriff’s Office employee, Morgan Crider, who also serves as the county’s E-911 director, has accused Sheriff Billy Breeding of filing a false disciplinary complaint against her and firing her from her job because she spoke up about it.
Crider also accused the sheriff of making sexual comments towards her. The accusations are outlined in a lawsuit filed on October 10, 2025.
