Dripping Springs seemed to have been a little off in their game with the Bowie Bulldogs. The passing game was affected by the absence of two of their top three receivers, Cooper Reid and James Montgomery.
Bowie used a strategy to slow down the game, letting the clock run and keeping the Tigers off the field. However, the Tigers adjusted by turning to their running game, and the defense came up big when it counted.
The Tigers started strong, scoring twice in the first quarter. The defense threw a three and out, giving the Tigers the ball at the Bulldogs' 48. Chase Ames finished the drive with a 7-yard pass to Dodge Reid. Another three and out put the ball on Tiger 34.
The continuity of the passing was definitely missing.
Author's summary: Tigers make a comeback against Bowie.
