Ilkley Film Society to Screen Courtroom Drama from Clint Eastwood

Ilkley Film Society's next screening is Clint Eastwood's courtroom drama Juror #2, showing on Sunday, October 26th at 8pm at Ilkley Playhouse.

The film tells the story of a young man serving on a jury in a high-profile murder trial in Savannah, Georgia, who discovers a personal connection to the case and faces a moral dilemma that could lead to a miscarriage of justice.

Notably, Clint Eastwood was 93 years old when production began, marking his 40th film as a director. The film features a major role from Toni Collette and stars Nicholas Hoult, who has since taken on starring roles in Nosferatu and Superman.

Clint Eastwood still has some way to go to match the Portuguese director Manoel de Oliveira who directed 3 full-length features after his 100th birthday.
