The UK government has rolled out the first digital ID as part of its plan to digitalize almost every form of ID in the country.

A digital veteran card, available for ex-members of the armed services, has been created and was presented at an event at the Tower of London.
As per Sky News, Beefeaters showed off their new digital veteran ID cards at the event.
The proposal for digital ID cards, dubbed "Britcards", was announced last month, subject to a full consultation.
