Canadian Passport Ranks Higher than U.S. in Visa-Free Access
The Henley Passport Index has ranked Canada in 9th place for visa-free access to countries, surpassing the U.S.
According to Henley and Partners, the shift is due to countries imposing reciprocal policies in response to new U.S. visa restrictions.
- Canadian passport holders can access Belarus, Papua New Guinea, and Uzbekistan without a visa.
- Canadians can also skip the visa requirement upon arriving in Bolivia and Rwanda.
Canadian passport holders have overtaken Americans in terms of visa-free access to the world.
