South Africa's Lack of Perspective on Hamas

According to Ray Hartley and Greg Mills, President Ramaphosa has been "tone deaf and out of tune" regarding the situation in Gaza.

As world leaders signed the peace deal in Sharm-el-Sheikh, the South African government was absent and silent, with its script to isolate Israel having been rejected by various countries, including Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, and Qatar.

South Africa now appears more radical than Hamas.

This has exposed South Africa's "amateurish grasp of foreign policy", leaving the country isolated and out of touch as Israel and Hamas reached an agreement on freeing hostages.

Author's summary: SA isolated on Gaza peace deal.
