Ikea Raises Prices Due to Trump's Furniture Tariffs
Swedish retailer Ikea is increasing prices due to new tariffs affecting the furniture industry.
Tolga Öncü, retail manager at Ingka, stated that the company must adapt to the new business environment and pass on "part of the cost increase to the customers."
"We can’t stay immune to absorb all the costs ourselves,"
"But the big work sits in finding ways to lower the prices."
Öncü acknowledged that lowering costs has become difficult in the current environment.
