Chiefs Chapel: A New Sunday Tradition for Fans at Arrowhead
For years, many Chiefs fans had to choose between attending church and watching their team play at Arrowhead Stadium on Sundays.
In 2014, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt launched the Faith and Family Chapel, located next to the southern corner of Arrowhead Stadium, to provide a solution to this dilemma.
“What started as a simple pregame service has grown into something much bigger,”
said Cedric Hardimon, pastor at Life.Church East Kansas City. The Chapel hosts a non-denominational worship service every Sunday morning when the Chiefs have a home game scheduled at noon.
