Finding Peace in a Frantic Life

Guy Crockroft reflects on tranquility, asking if we have been given much, reminiscent of Jesus' words in Luke 12:48:

“To whom much is given, much is required.”
Life can become frantic, causing frustration and a sense of being out of sorts as we try to manage our time.

We often feel overwhelmed by our numerous responsibilities, such as work, church, maintaining a healthy marriage, raising a family, and other obligations. The constant pressures of daily life can be exhausting, with the added stress of hobbies, travel, home maintenance, and vehicle maintenance.

As my former Pastor Johnny Jackson once said, this can be described as

“the tyranny of the urgent”
, where we are constantly interrupted by tasks that need immediate attention. For instance, while writing this article, I had to take a break to take my daughter to the dentist, illustrating the frequent interruptions we face in our daily lives.
