Prime Video Cancels 'The Office Australia' After One Season
Prime Video has shuttered the Australian version of 'The Office' after one season, confirming the comedy series has not been renewed.
The decision comes 12 months after the series premiered on the streamer, marking the 13th global adaptation of the UK comedy series and the first with a female lead.
Co-produced by BBC Studios Australia and New Zealand, Bunya Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, The Office Australia starred Felicity Ward as Hannah Howard, the managing director of packaging company Flinley Craddick.
When she gets news from Head Office that they will be shutting down her branch and making everyone work from home, she goes into survival mode, making promises she can’t keep to keep her “work family” together.
