Yeovil MP Calls for More Support for Domestic Abuse Victims
Adam Dance, the Liberal Democrat MP for Yeovil, is urging for stronger support for domestic abuse victims, calling for more funding and action beyond the Sentencing Bill reforms.
During Domestic Abuse Awareness Month, Mr Dance expressed his concerns about victim protection after receiving a government response to his Parliamentary question on the Sentencing Bill.
The government stated that the Bill would introduce a new judicial finding of domestic abuse at sentencing, aiming to ensure better identification and monitoring of offenders.
