Emily Scarratt Announces Retirement from Rugby

Two-time Women's Rugby World Cup winner Emily Scarratt has announced her retirement from rugby, ending an extraordinary career spanning over 17 years.

Scarratt made her England debut in 2008 against the USA and earned 119 caps, winning two Rugby World Cups and 11 Six Nations titles. She also represented Great Britain at the 2016 Rio Olympics as captain and claimed Commonwealth bronze with England Sevens.

In 2019, she was crowned World Rugby Women's Player of the Year. Scarratt ends her career as the Red Roses' leading points scorer with 754 points, achieved through 54 tries, 158 conversions, and 56 penalties.
