The Emory Wheel, an independent student-run newspaper of Emory University since 1919, reports a widespread Amazon Web Services (AWS) server error caused a Canvas outage.

The outage, which lasted nearly 15 hours, began around 3:00 a.m. and ended around 6:00 p.m., blocking students from accessing assignments and class materials.
